The following information regarding the protection of your personal data concerns the way we process your personal information when you communicate with DELTA Restaurant or use any of its services through its website.

When and How Do We Collect Your Personal Data?
Most of the personal information we process is provided directly by you for one of the following reasons:
  • You requested to make a reservation at DELTA
  • You subscribed to the DELTA Newsletter
  • You contacted us through the DELTA website contact form
Reservation Request
We use information such as: Full name, Address, Email, VAT number, and other details described in the reservation request form. The purpose of collecting and processing this data is to provide the services for which you make a reservation. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, namely the examination and processing of your reservation request according to the reservation terms, as well as Article 6(1)(a), namely your explicit consent. In addition, for the fulfillment of the restaurant’s services and for visitor protection purposes, the website requests disclosure of any allergies to raw materials, food, or dishes during online reservations. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, namely the examination and processing of your reservation request according to the reservation terms, Article 6(1)(a), namely your explicit consent, and Article 9(2)(h), namely for preventive medical purposes. Finally, DELTA Restaurant may use your email address to send, through the reservation service, an after-visit evaluation questionnaire aimed at improving its services and producing statistical conclusions, and not for advertising purposes. If you respond to the questionnaire through the relevant platform (note: the questionnaire will not request your full name), DELTA Restaurant may process your responses for the above purpose. Information from these responses will not be disclosed to third parties. We retain your personal data for a period of 45 days after the provision of the services for which the reservation was made, while personal data originating from questionnaire responses are retained for one (1) year in order to derive valid statistical conclusions.
In addition, you have the right to request access to your data, correction if inaccurate or incomplete, deletion upon withdrawal of your consent, restriction of processing under certain conditions, and the right to lodge a complaint.
Newsletter Subscription
We use your email address to send you newsletters. Once you subscribe to the Newsletter, you will receive a confirmation email and subsequently our newsletters and updates. The purpose of collecting and processing the data is to send the e-Newsletter and our updates. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, according to Article 6(1) GDPR. We retain your personal data for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter mailing list so that you can continue receiving our electronic newsletters and updates, and we delete them if you withdraw your consent. You therefore have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, resulting in the deletion of your information and the termination of newsletter delivery. In addition, you have the rights of access to your data, correction if inaccurate or incomplete, deletion upon withdrawal of your consent, restriction of processing under certain conditions, and the right to lodge a complaint.
Communication Through the Contact Form
We collect personal data such as: Name, Surname, Email, Telephone number, and any other personal data you may provide if you choose to use the DELTA website contact form.
We retain your personal data for one (1) year from the date the communication was sent. We also store our response to your communication in our system. Providing the above data is necessary for the satisfaction of your request/inquiry. The purpose of processing your personal data is to respond to your request for information. The legal basis for processing your personal data for this purpose is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
In this case as well, you have the same rights as those described in the Newsletter Subscription section.
Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Data
As a rule, we do not disclose or transfer data to third parties. Your data may be disclosed to data processors cooperating with DELTA for the support of its systems.
Specifically, the website is hosted on aboutnet’s server, while your data may subsequently be stored in aboutnet cloud services. In addition, the reservation management system is handled by the company TOCK, whose authorized personnel may have access to reservation lists to the extent required for the provision of technical support services.
The above processors may not carry out any further processing of your personal data nor transfer your personal data to third parties. The website also uses the Facebook platform in order to allow visitors to “like” and “share” the website’s texts and videos through their Facebook accounts. The website explicitly states that it does not gain access to the personal data of visitors participating in this way. Furthermore, the website uses Facebook tools that collect information through cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies for the provision of measurement services.
